Well, it's been about 6 months since I started looking at Angular 2 to learn and add to my skillset. Along the way I got sidetracked with Vue.js, about which I have no regrets - but the local job market seems to be picking up steam and the calls for Angular 2 are picking up.

The Backstory

For this series I'm kinda jumping into the middle of the Angular 2 pool, and by design I've purposefully skipped the steps that I performed to install and configure Angular 2 onto my local computer. You'll obviously need to install Angular 2 before you can use it, and there are a lot of articles/videos out there that will walk you step by step through the setup process, and it also seems like it's always being tweaked or outright changed.... You are going to need NodeJS so that you can install the CLI (Command Line Interface), the web server and the required libraries that Angular 2 needs to work. Youtube and/or Google should provide you with all the resources you'll need.

In this series I layout my take on learning Google's Angular 2 framework. Along the way I've leaned on some resources, some more than others, but hearing the same concept(s) explained from different sources most definitley helped the learning process, so if you get hung up on an area or topic, try using the following resources:
